Elon Musk spoke out after being accused of having a “three-way affair” with Amber Heard and Cara Delevingne
Elon Musk publicly pushed back after he was accused of having a ménage à trois with two major stars.
The Tesla boss, 54, was alleged to have slept with actress Amber Heard and model Cara Delevingne, but he later said the claim was not true.
Rumors about the alleged “three-way affair” spread a few years ago while Heard was involved in a defamation case brought by her former husband, Johnny Depp, 62.
After a six-week trial, a jury found that the Aquaman star’s Washington Post op-ed about domestic violence included statements that were false, defamatory, and made with malice.
Depp, who is best known for Pirates of the Caribbean, was awarded $15 million in damages. That amount was later reduced to $10.35 million.
Heard, 40, was awarded $2 million in damages linked to her countersuit, even though she lost the wider legal battle.
Before the jury reached its verdict, several depositions were carried out as part of the case. One person who gave testimony was Josh Drew, the ex-husband of Heard’s former best friend, Raquel Pennington.
According to Page Six, Drew claimed he had previously been told that “Amber Heard was having an affair with Carla Delevingne while she was still married to Johnny Depp.”
His deposition became one of the reasons the alleged link between Heard, Delevingne, and Musk drew so much public attention.

During the deposition, Drew was asked whether the trio had “spent the night together.” He was also asked whether they “were having a three-way affair,” and he answered “yes” to both questions.
Musk dated Heard after her divorce from Depp, but both of them have denied that the relationship began while Heard was still married.
Drew claimed the alleged A-list encounter took place at a Los Angeles penthouse in late 2016.
Musk later insisted there was no truth to the claim that he had hooked up with Heard and Delevingne.
In a statement, the billionaire addressed the timeline involving him and Heard. He also said he had “never” been intimate with Delevingne, the 33-year-old British model.
“Cara and I are friends, but we’ve never been intimate,” Musk told Page Six in 2020. “She would confirm this.”

“Also, I wish to confirm again that Amber and I only started going out about a month after her divorce filing,’ Musk added. “I don’t think I was ever even in the vicinity of Amber during their marriage!“”
He also spoke about the legal battle between Heard and Depp, which was still ongoing at the time. Musk said he believed both sides should try to let the dispute go.
Musk added: “I would recommend that everyone involved bury the hatchet and move on.”
“Life is too short for such extended negativity. Nobody is going to say, after it’s all over, that they wished the court battle had lasted longer!”
A spokesperson for the SpaceX founder also denied the allegations in a statement shared around the same period, again saying the timing did not match the claims.
The statement read: “Elon and Amber didn’t start seeing each other until May 2016, and even then it was infrequent,” “Their relationship didn’t become romantic until some time later.”
Musk, who has fathered at least 14 children, later summed up his short relationship with Heard in one word: “brutal.”
His comments showed that he did not look back on the romance as an easy chapter, even though he continued to deny the more explosive claims linked to the Depp-Heard case.
The allegation involving Heard and Delevingne remains one of the more headline-grabbing side stories from the wider legal battle, but Musk has kept his position clear: he said it did not happen.
